Day 02. Fly to Bahirdar, and transfer hotel for check-in. If time permits, go to visit Bezait palace, with very nice view over Tana lake and Blue Nile. Afternoon boat trip on lake Tana to admire the beautiful monasteries over the lake’s islands, as Ura Kidane Mehret and Mahal Zeghie Gyorgis. ON in Bahirdar chosen hotel

Day 07. Morning visit one of the churches out of the town. We propose an excursion by mules to the Asheten Mariam church, with spectacular views too. Or by car to the cave church of Naktuleab. Afternoon remaining churches in Lalibela.
Day 08. Fly to Axum. Visit the steles, different archeological sites, the bath and the palace of Queen of Sheba; churches, among which in the church of St Mary of Tsion (where legend says is deposited the Ark of Covenant). ON in Axum.

04. Drive to the Semien mountains. Drive to Sankaber (130 kms) where you will start the trek from the place called Michibe which take 2 hours to the camp site
05.Trek to Geech that takes 6-7 Hours which will be 17 kilometers. Located on 3350 meters above sea level on this day you will enjoy the beautiful landscape and see the endemic wattle ibis and white collar pigeon. ON camp
06. Trek to Imetgogo that will take 6hrs with the altitude of 3380 msl and cover around 10 kilometers. Imetgogo is the most panoramic view in Semien mountains.
07. Trek start around 7:00am after having early break fast to Ambico that take 8-9 hrs with the altitude of 4200 masl.
08. Climb Ras Dashen, the highest peak of the Semien mntns (4,620 masl). Full day walking. Back ON Ambilco camp
09. Trek to Sona that take 8-9 hours with the altitude of 3200 msl .
10. Trek to Mekaribia that will take 8 hours with the altitude of 2200 msl. It is lowland and the weather changes and it will be warm and when you reach river Lamo (possible to swim in the river) lunch will be served. The area is also famous for its bird life and see the colobus monkey and admire the vegetation.
11. Trek to Mullite it requires about 5-6 hrs with the altitude of 2100 msl .
12. Trek take about 1 hour and 30 minutes to reach to Adarkai to meet your vehicle to drive to Axum.

03. Drive to Semera, the Afar people capital. Take necessary permits for your Danakil trip. ON camp

08. See the camel caravans bring back salt to the Tigray towns for the markets. Drive to Hawsen or Mekele. ON htl
09. Visit Tigray rock-hewn churches as the extremely interesting Daniel Korkor, Mariyam korkor and Abune Yemata (clients should be very fit for mountain climbing for this last church; otherwise you can visit Abreha wo Asbeha church). ON htl
10. Drive to Lalibela, admiring very nice views. ON Hotel
11. Visit the rock-hewn churches in Lalibela. Visit a coffee ceremony in a traditional house in town. Evening dinner with folkloristic dances at hotel

Djibouti (country), republic in northeastern Africa, strategically located at the strait of Bab el Mandeb, which links the Red Sea with the Gulf of Aden.
